Amity Sands (formerly Ballows on the Beach) is a stunning waterfront property located on a secluded white sandy beach on the northern tip of Stradbroke Island.

The property has undergone a change in ownership and has received some much-needed TLC. With some new furniture and new 55 and 75-inch TV’s, it has returned to be one of the premier properties in Amity. Amity Sands also has free Wifi and netflix for their guests. Air conditioning has been installed in all the bedrooms and downstairs TV room just in time for Summer.

The stunning oceanfront retreat is set on 1 acre amongst the shady trees and gardens. The tri-level home features a big open planned kitchen, dining and living area which features expansive glass and opens out onto the broad covered entertaining deck where you can sit with your Nespresso coffee (machine supplied) offering uninterrupted coastal views of the crystal blue waters of South Passage to Moreton Island. The spacious interior has been designed to capture these spectacular views.

The secluded sandy beach at the rear of the property is a wonderful play area for children. The beach is a shallow well protected area that has very limited swell. This area is also a fantastic area to throw out a fishing line.

There is room to sleep up to 8 guests in the 3 bedroom house with room for up to an extra 4 guests in the adjoining 1 bedroom airconditioned cottage which has a seperate TV.

The two ground level bedrooms are separated by a central family room accessed via an internal staircase. The ground level rooms all open directly onto the covered patio and garden area. Offset between the upper and ground levels is the main bathroom (shower & toilet), laundry and front entry.

For the cool winter nights, the living room features a cosy firebox. Insect screens are installed throughout for guest comfort. There is a single carport as well as plenty of room for off street parking of vehicles and boats. Being fully fenced, this property is also the perfect holiday escape for your four-legged friends. Amity has varied nocturnal wildlife, including koalas, kangaroos and many bird species, so we ask that dogs are locked up in secure ares e.g. decks/verandahs, or chained up outside the house after dark.

This property is located just over one kilometre from the Amity shops and all other amenities.
