It s all in the name Off The Hook where you couldn't wish for a more carefree and complete family holiday. Located literally across the road from the Amity Point campground close to the jetty/safe bayside swimming area/playground and boat ramp.  Unless launching the boat you won't need your car for the rest of your holiday not even to get the fresh bread milk and supplies from the Amity shop which is a 5 minute walk. Don t forget to put in the skate boards and bikes for the skate bowl adjoining the camping grounds across the street where the kids can entertain themselves after a fun filled day of fishing and swimming. This highset double storey house has 2 bedrooms upstairs with 1 x Queen bed and 2 x Single beds. For the extended or larger family there is room for sleeping another 4 guests in the downstairs converted rumpus area (no internal stairs) with 1 x Single bed bunk & 2 x Single beds a small lounge area,table and chairs, fridge, TV and DVD player. There are ceiling fans in all bedrooms including downstairs for guest comfort.  All rooms are insect screened and upstairs open plan lounge/kitchen is air conditioned (cooling only). The contemporary kitchen has everything the cook needs including a dishwasher, gas stove, microwave and lots of bench space and well appointed kitchen cupboards. The dining room opens onto a spacious upper level verandah with outdoor dining setting and large gas BBQ for relaxed holiday dining. The front yard is also large enough for off-street parking a boat and multiple vehicles with easy direct street access. An outside shower is conveniently located downstairs to wash off the take-home from the beach and fishing. The property is not fenced so no pets please.  And after a hard day off the hook take a 5 minute stroll to the Amity Point Community Club for a family meal refreshments & occasional entertainment. Rodney Feb 2017 "Fantastic location, across the road from swimming enclosure, koalas, dolphins, peaceful, great house with all conveniences appliances (even if we didn't use them, they were there)lots of DVDs excellent collection (even though we didn't use them) a great idea for rainy weather, huge TV, great balcony, Seashells Café was wonderful and staff were great, staff at Straddie Sales and Rentals were very friendly.
